Joseph Nelson started out doing stand-up comedy in Iowa City, Iowa where he studied acting and film.
From there he moved to Chicago to study at The Second City under T.J. Jagodowski among other incredible instructors, followed by The Annoyance Theater. It was after training at The Second City that he and several other improvisers founded The Stuntmen, Chicago's Only Fully Improvised Action Movie. He wrote and produced several films with Spineless Productions in Chicago, one of which was featured at the Chicago International Film Festival as well as the Naperville Film Festival.
He later moved to California to study at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and pursue film and theater. He currently lives in Los Angeles and loves it!
